Water Damage in Waterford, MI

This house is a rental property and the was unoccupied at the time of the loss. The furnace control board failed, turning off the heat and the water pipes froze and burst. Unfortunately this went unnoticed for an undetermined length of time and cause extensive damage to the home. Everything was affected including the ceiling due to condensation. The water had gotten into the walls and also rose to the level of the home's electrical outlets. Prior to us even starting out work we had to have an electrician come on and create a temporary power source so we can run our drying equipment and even more so, the home's furnace. The home's climate must be above 65 degrees for our equipment to run properly. As a mitigation team, we only provide emergency services, demo of affected areas, content removal/disposal, cleaning, storage, and/or manipulation, and dry out of the home and its structure, mainly. Once out mitigation is complete another company comes to complete the reconstruction. This home required extensive demolition and drying. Our customer was amazed at the efficiency of our work, she as very confident that her home was in capable hands.
