October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month~

Breast cancer is the most common cancer found in American women, except for skin cancers. 

• Estimated numbers of new cancer cases and deaths in 2020 (In 2020, there will be an estimated 1.8 million new cancer cases diagnosed and 606,520 cancer deaths in the United States.)

A mammogram can often show a breast lump before it is felt. They can also show tiny clusters of calcium called micro-calcifications. Lumps or specks can be caused by cancer, fatty cells, or other conditions like cysts. Further tests are needed to find out if abnormal cells are present. 

Help Support the women in need. We can provide help and hope to women at every step of the breast cancer journey. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, your donation will help provide a mammogram.
